The Gym Group appoints Chief Property Officer to lead on accelerated growth plans

London, 12 December 2024: The Gym Group, a leading high value, low cost gym chain, listed on the London Stock Exchange, has appointed Hamish Latchem as Chief Property Officer to drive its accelerated gym opening plans. The Gym Group has 241 gyms nationwide, with four more openings before the end of 2024, and aims to open c50 gyms between 2024-2026.

Prior to joining The Gym Group, Hamish was National Store Development Director for ALDI, having spent 13 years in operational and property roles across the company. In his new role at The Gym Group, Hamish will be responsible for all property acquisition, facilities and estate management, as well as gym format and design.
