David Melhuish

David joined The Gym Group in April 2013 and has been critical to the rapid growth of the estate and ongoing strategic expansion. In 2021, David was promoted to Chief Development and Sustainability Officer and is responsible for delivery and support of The Gym Group’s high quality gym estate, as well as developing, implementing, and leading our sustainability strategy.

Board skills and experience

David acts as an ambassador for all sustainability-related matters at The Gym Group, both internally and externally. He ensures the business is well positioned to meet its designated sustainability reporting and disclosure obligations, as well as wider corporate targets.
